Rocker. Rebel. Roadie.

Wonder twin powers: Activate!
Staz Lindes is a both model and a rock star. A Londoner and an Angelino. A bassist and singer. Whether you first notice her spectacular shag or those pillowy lips, much about Staz demands a doubletake. Daughter of Dire Straights guitarist Hal Lindes and model Mary Lovett, Staz has got both rock and runway in her genes—and as if that weren’t destiny-shaping enough, she also grew up with Twiggy as a close family friend.

Debuting on the Paris Fashion Week runway for Yves Saint Laurent, Staz was discovered as a model the age of 14 at a bowling alley in LA—and discovered again as a muse of Hedi Slimane, who happened upon her on stage in all her grunge glory. Punky and pretty; low-key and lush; messy and mesmerizing; relaxed and regal—Staz is equal parts cool and beautiful to the core—a fact that’s equally apparent whether you’re catching sight of her in the pages of Vogue, as the featured face of Saint Laurent Beauté, or hauling her own equipment and kicking around in Converse with her bandmates on Instagram.

As for the band, Staz fronts the staggering surf-core group, the Paranoyds, whose 2017 album, Eat Their Own, inspired serious touring time, culminating in sold-out shows and a stage at Coachella and a steady stream of gigs in the LA garage-rock scene.

Inspired. Inspiring. Visionary.
